G2 Esports Becomes Champion of BLAST Premier: World Final

On the evening of November 3, the matches of BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 concluded. G2 Esports and Team Spirit competed for the championship title in the final.

Both teams started the tournament in Group B, where G2 defeated Spirit in a head-to-head match with a score of 2:0, securing first place. Spirit took second place and advanced to the quarterfinals of the playoffs, while G2 progressed directly to the semifinals.

On their way to the grand final, Team Spirit defeated FaZe Clan (2:0) and Astralis (2:1), while G2 overcame Team Vitality (2:1).

The grand final was held in a best-of-5 format, and G2 won the first map of the series — their pick, Mirage (13:7). They then extended their advantage with a victory on Anubis (13:5). NiKo’s team reached three match points and converted the first one, winning on Dust2 (13:7). The final series score was 3:0.

For winning the tournament, G2 Esports received $500,000 from the total prize pool of $1,000,000. Team Spirit earned $250,000.
