NAVI Wins IEM Rio 2024

On the evening of October 13, the final match of the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 took place.

In the best-of-5 grand final, MOUZ faced off against NAVI. Both teams started the tournament in Group A, where MOUZ finished in third place, while NAVI secured second. This placed both clubs in the playoffs beginning with the quarterfinals.

On their way to the final, NAVI defeated Virtus.pro (2:0) and HEROIC (2:1), while MOUZ overcame Team Vitality (2:1) and Group A leader FURIA Esports (2:0).

The grand final began with two consecutive wins for NAVI on Inferno (13:11) and Dust II (13:2). MOUZ narrowed the gap on Mirage (13:6), but NAVI staged a comeback on Ancient from a score of 2:10, reaching match point with a final score of 13:11.

The total prize pool for IEM Rio 2024 amounted to $250,000, with NAVI earning $100,000 for their victory and securing an invitation to IEM Katowice 2025.
